As Romeo and Juliet subsides, Callie Adams-Foster is in for another ride.

Worst comes to worst
All the secrets gets exposed
Despite adult advises
Teenagers makes bad choices

Phew!!! This season is by far the most stressful.

There are a lot of things that I loved and wouldn't want to change but the others were just too much!!
And since I can't actually do this on a summarized note, I'll break this down.

Just a small recap on the past season:
(If you haven't seen ALL the episodes, then this might come out as a spoiler)

From looking for the driver opposite of the crash, Stef were more strict than ever and her having so much stress makes me stressed from watching it. She's a cop, yea... but she can't hog all the work, Mike's still there, isn't he?
Oh, and this was the time when Brandon was still in Idyllwild and there was the "competition" that Brandon stresses about. This is the also the episode when Callie met AJ.
And there's this gay issues with Connor's dad (ironic how this was aired for Father's Day), Jude and Connor is on an actual relationship at this point but Jude wanted to keep it low, and Callie was with the Quinns and guess what? Robert and his wife will be separating. And Callie resolved her issue with Donald so there's that. And since the Fosters hits their capacity range, they suggest that Mike adopt AJ instead, because their hearts cannot take another child (who is nearly of age) to be strayed or whatever.
Add as Stef sees the principal, Monte at the gay bar, she was astounded to know that she is gay and worries about her spouse. Then Stef just became to intolerable. Callie and Brandon just doesn't like the idea of AJ becoming part of the family, especially Brandon

STRESS TOLL:
Stef = 2
Lena = 1
Brandon = 2
Callie = 1
Mariana = 0
Jesus = n/a
Jude = 1 (bc of Connor's dad)

Lena's family came to town and brought up the long overdue issue of racism towards the colored race. It was resolved, if I'm not mistaken, in the same episode so that's less than one thing we can take off our stress list. Jude was still not able to grasp that he is gay and was against labels, while Connor was open with his sexuality creating a rift between them, but was mended throughout the episode as well.
Callie had a 'bright' (please note the sarcastic quotation marks) idea and forces Brandon to Mexico to skydive, while the moms back at home saw a disposed prego test and initially thought that it was Callie's and Brandon's (ha!!! and they talk about removing the Brallie plotline? I don't think it would be possible guys) and turns out it was Mariana's. At this point, Mat and Mariana called it quits.
Callie's birthday. Everyone acts unnaturally to the point that Jude calls out Callie for being an insufferable baby (since Jude planned the surprise) and here goes Callie turning to every guy she meets... Callie and AJ. At the party, Brandon goes through his phone and discovers that AJ had been phoning his brother and lashes out at him. Mike condemns Brandon for starting the fight and his son reveals the truth. However, Mike doesn't want to hear it and Brandon leaves. Mike later apologizes and reassures that he loves him.

STRESS TOLL:
Stef = 3
Lena = 1 (it was initially 2 bc of the prego scare, but since there was a resolution regarding the racism that her brother has against her, -1)
Brandon = 3 (two bc of AJ, 1 bc of Idyllwild)
Callie = 2
Mariana = 1
Jesus = n/a
Jude = 0

AJ moves to Rita's home because he and Callie cannot live at the same house.

ugghhh... this is dragging.

Back in Idyllwild, Brandon racks his brain for a new composition and when he shared it with one of his colleagues it was plagiarized that made another stressful day for Brandon at the music camp. A social worker also came and said that she won't support Callie's adoption without checking her and Brandon's relationship.
Callie sleeps over Girls United. Brandon and Callie was separately interviewed and they provided different answers. Brandon finds out the real reason why AJ moved out the last time and accuses his mom of being unfair. Brandon was later in front of Girls United but leaves before he can even talk to Callie.

STRESS TOLL:
Stef = 3
Lena = 1
Brandon = 6 (2 bc of music camp. 3 bc of AJ, 1 bc of Callie
Callie = 3
Mariana = 1
Jesus = n/a
Jude = 0

There was a commotion at Girls United and because Callie is 'one of them', she tried to resolve it resulting in a recording about her and Carmen about how she and Brandon snuck around GU kissing and stuff. Brandon plays an original at the showcase and later won. Stef found out about Monte hitting on Lena and trust me it didn't go well. Closing the end of the episode, Callie send the recording to Rita for it to be used to clear her name and go out of detention. And this is the episode why Brallie will never end, since Callie gave up the thought of her being adopted, she 'spent', if you know what I mean, the night with Brandon.

STRESS TOLL:
Stef = 4
Lena = 2
Brandon = 3 (minus Idyllwild and Callie)
Callie = 5 (add GU and Brandon)
Mariana = 1
Jesus = n/a
Jude = 0

So, next is Connor decides to live with his mother, Callie is officially a member of the Adam-Foster's family (which complicates one or two things). And Jesus is back!!!! (in the form of Noah Centineo).

STRESS TOLL:
Stef = 3 (retracted stress)
Lena = 1 (retracted stress)
Brandon = (added 1 but retracted it bc Jesus is back)
Callie = 5 (added 1 but retracted it bc Jesus is back)
Mariana = 0 (retracted stress)
Jesus = 0
Jude = 0 (added 1 but retracted it bc Jesus is back)

And this is where the second half of the season begins...

Callie became this catalyst of change of the foster care system through "Fost and Found". We met Justina and Jack. Justina became this investor and brought Callie's app to life (though I always knew that Justina would be the bad guy somehow, she's too shady right from the start.) and Jack became the new found friend of Jude (maybe because he's trying to fill that emptiness that Connor left.)

Callie broke a sweat on trying to make Fost and Found work and to make her campaign work. But since government got involved, her simple project got complicated. Various people tries to protect her and various people tries to alter and manipulate her mind, but Callie is her own person. Always been. It has always been her character but sometimes I just get tired of her being someone who wants to change everything. At some point, I wanted her to be just a regular person, a teenager, but we already have a character for that (*coughs* Mariana *coughs*). Maybe it's just tiring to see the main character being tired of everything all the time.

Jude's life became bolder when Connor came and as expected it will be duller once he left but what does one do when a certain 'special friend' leaves you with no assurance or anything?
Long distance relationship is crap, but it can work out to. However, even though we all wanted it to work out with Jonnor... they are kids still and first loves don't always work.
Now, I like how Jack got in the story, somehow he made a good companion with Jude (I just don't like how Jude developed some kinds of feelings for him because we all know how Jack turned out) and that made Jude mature, I think. To know that not all the time you could be with one friend. That you need to reach out to someone else eventually.

Now, I've always loved the twins and I did not hate when they replaced Jake Austin when he left because I wanted to give Noah a chance and I think it'll be better to have the cast replaced than to kill Jesus. As expected, Noah didn't disappoint (I just miss how Jake plays with his character sometimes that it comes out funny. Jake is a funny guy, we all got that watching him from WOWP)

The twin's storyline just keeps on getting better. Jesus had a new friend, Nick, who gave more color to his life because what can a hyper dude needs is a hyper friend and that is what Nick is. He also tried to look for their birth father (after Ana, this... well, let's get together everyone!). Mariana, hoping to make her junior year productive goes to running for junior class president to acting in a play.

I love how they inserted the twin's birth father, it oozed out emotions from the two. I like how Jesus, now that he's a teenager, what's to know his dad and that was what I was waitng for somehow since season 1 (because you don't see any interaction between him and Mike and because Jesus is a guy, he ought to have a father figure in his life.) I like Gabe's character, I like how eventually he genuinely likes to get to know the twins when Jesus introduced himself despite his situation. On the other hand, my hate for Ana grows (I don't know how she is being a key character in this show. I say ditch her already)
And I liked Nick as his friend as well. Both spontaneous and fun.
One scene I truly enjoyed was when Jesus thanked Stef for supporting, that was when I felt that Noah truly became his character and that everyone embraced Noah as Jesus. (or maybe that's just me.

The colorful life of Mariana Adams-Foster is something to look out for every season.
I am a pro- Mat/Mariana and I was so bummed when they split up but never lose hope! I mean if Brallie fans still has the spirit, no way that Mat and Mariana will call it quits that early. (and I was not disappointed :) )
I like how Mariana was not introduced to any guys at first, after what happened between her and Mat and I appreciate that she is still a headstrong girl and explored other things that she is most likely good at.
(I should point out that I do not like Nick for Mariana, for Jesus yes, but for Mariana no...)
And I super loved the R&J episode.

I would skip the moms, but I liked how they worked out their marital issues and how they opened up about cancer and how hair and breasts doesn't define you as a woman and is not less feminine wihout them. Lena and Stef has always been a power couple and I like how they are always there.
I personally love when Stef is in a crime scene that may somehow relate to the kids.

I don't like AJ's character nor his storyline so I'm not gonna say anything about it.

As for the prime characters of this season.

We all know how this two just can't get enough of each other. They are each other's one true love and these are the circumstances that prevents them from being together but at some point it just got exhausting.

- It's exhausting when they finally got together at the end of 4A, then they had to stop again in the beginning of 4B.
- It's exhausting when AJ came into the picture, because duh? the guy certainly has some thingamabob on Callie!
- It's exhausting when the viewers had to see Callie go for yet another foster brother (though not legally but Mike adopted AJ so same thing!)

- then it was exhausting when Brandon has to somehow take responsibility of what they did in the cabin because Callie was the girl and he has this undying affection for her.
- It was exhausting when AJ came into the picture and not only made moves on Callie but infiltrated his family by getting adopted by Mike, the only thing that Brandon got to call his and only his.
- It's exhausting when Brandon met yet another complicated girl like Courtney.
- It's incredibly sweet but at the same time exhausting to hear his beautiful music about Callie.

AND FOR AWESOMENESS OF R&J EPISODE, I PRESENT YOU A YOUTUBE PLAYLIST THAT CONTAINS IT. (not my channel though)
